apply l visa

Question

hi i am Flor ,now here in  Shanghai, for less than 4 years.. i am 52 years old having a current F visa here in China , i applied for a student Visa here but they denied me.. i will go back Philippines this month,can i apply for an L visa coming back here in April? what are the requirements and can i directly apply to the China embassy and no need to renew my passport, my passport will expire on 2017...thank you so much...

I think you can try to apply it directly from the Chinese embassy in your country. It's hard to tell whether you will succeed or not because the embassy has the final say. Please read the requirements carefully on this page and prepare all the documents they need.
