About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Business Visas

If you travel to Hong Kong, is it possible to travel their and apply for a business visa for the first time if you have a letter of invitation? Or do you have to do this from your home country (the US for me). If I can just apply and receive this type of visa in Hong Kong I would much prefer that.

Generally, the Commissioner's ofiice in HK only accepts applications from HK residents. So, to be safe, you are suggested to apply in US.
