About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK passport holder, traveling through Shanghai. Visa needed?

Hello there, I wanted to double check that I have this right:

Arriving in Pudong, Shanghai 17th April, 7:30am from Auckland, New Zealand
Leaving Shanghai on flight to London, UK 19th April 11:40am.

I am under the 72 hours, and want o check that it's correct to not require a visa?
And do I need to visit the police station?

Thank you for putting my mind at rest!

Don't worry! It is sure that you don't need a visa and is qualified for the visa-free policy. And it is not necessary to visit and register at the local police station either.
