How can I find out if a parcel was delivered to an address in China?

I sent a parcel to china back in october 2012 and the recipient say they did not receive it. How do I find out if it was delivered?

Which post company did you use? You can dail the number of the post company to ask about the details. If you posted it through China post, dial 11183 and the operators will help you with your package.

Hi Lisa thank you for replying.
I posted the parcel by Australia post and they say it left the country but cannot be tracked past that. I want to know if it was withheld in customs in China or was it actually delivered to the recipient and they are saying it wasn't so as not to have to refund me the money they owe me.
