As far as I know, the process is complicated, which including about 18 steps.
Generally speaking, the process is like this:
Selecting the fur, Disposing the fur for use, Drawing the characters, Shearing and cutting, Painting, Ironing, Combining different parts, Finishing
In general, a character will need about ten days to be finished.4
