About:China Customs Declaration

Soap and Perfume and Clothes

I am bringing items for friends in China from US. I am bringing some clothes, perfume and soap. It is all together under $200 USD. Do I need to decalre it?

I heard that as long as all the things are above 160USD, you need to declare and pay some tax for them.
