You can take the airport express to reach Dongzhimen Station where you can change to local subway line 2 to reach Jianguomen Station. From this station, you can change to line 1 to reach Yonganli Station and then follow the direction boards in the station to reach the Silk Market.

Can you write this in Chinese, so I can show it to the people in the airport. We know the Beijing airport is very large, can you also tell us how to catch the express bus in the airport. Thanks Sabina

It should be "乘坐机场快线到东直门, 然后换乘地铁2线在建国门下车. 在建国门站换乘地铁1线到永安里.下车后,可根据路标走到秀水街(Silk Market)".

At the airport, you can walk according to the guidng signs which are marked both in Chinese and English to find the location to catch Express Train. It can be very easy. Don't worry! Anyway, here is the location of the express train:
Terminal 2: B2 of Parking Garage No. 2
Terminal 3: F2 of Parking Garage No. 3

About every 10 minutes, there is a express train leave for Dongzhimen from the airport and it takes around 30 minutes to reach Dongzhimen.
From Dongzhimen to Yonganli, the subway will cost you about 10 to 15 minutes excluding the waiting time. Please do not worry and you will not wait for so long.

Very speedy reply, thank you very much. How much do we need to pay?.
Do they accept cash or credit card or do we have to buy a octopus card like when we visit Hong Kong.
Thanks Sabina

Hi, the Airport Express Train costs CNY25 per person. Besides cash, you can also pay by the local transportation smart card, which is like Octopus Card in Hong Kong.

Great, do you have a one day pass for the airport express and subways transit? Thanks.

As I know, there is no exclusive one day pass for the public transport. But if you want, you can buy a card on the first day and return it back and get your refund on the next day.
