About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Arrive Shanghai from London on 23/4/2013. Leave 25/4/2013 . Do I need visa with UK passport

I am arriving on a BA flight from London to Shanghai with a UK passport. Arriving 23rd April 2013. Leaving Shanghai on Celebrity Millenium cruise on 25th April 2013.
Do I need a visa or is it exempt under the new 72 hour rule ?

You need a visa for this trip if you will leave by cruise. 72 hours visa exemption is for air passengers transit via Shanghai airports only.
