We are travelling to Beijing 20 Mar this year

how's the weather during this period cold or not

The weather in March is very changeable. The temperature rises and falls frequently and sharply, with a big difference between day time and night time. The average temperature is about 0~12C. It is still dry and windy at this time, so there is a good chance of experiencing sandstorms.
