About:Shantou Travel

welcome suggestions for a memorable trip to Shantou

Hi, we a group of 6 seniors n we'll be there in April 2013 for 5 days. Any suggestions for sightseeing, shopping n especially eating delicious local dishes n seafood. Would appreciate any good suggestions to make our trip memorable. Thanks

The representative attractions there are Nan Ao Island, Qing Ao Bay and Citic Resort, Lotus Peak, Queshi Scenic Spot and Zhongshan Park. For shopping, I suggest you go to Overseas Chinese New Village Pedestrian. You can find kinds of things you want there. Bus no. 2, 4, 6, 18 or 26 can take you there.

About the local dishes and snacks, you can go to the old downtown at Jinping District, where you will have many choices.
