Where should I lodge my application for a visa?

I'm a Finnish citizen doing exchange studies in Australia at the moment. I'm returning home in the beginning of July and staying for two weeks in the PRC. My flights, however are to and from Hong Kong. Which embassy should I lodge my tourist L application with? Should it be a double entry one, since I have to travel between the PRC and the SAR Hong Kong?

Hi, you can try to apply in Australia. Please check carefully the consular district of Chinese embassy and consualtes here https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/australia.htm as you may need to apply through CVASC. BTW, a single entry is enough if you enter mainland once time. Visa to HK is not required.
