About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Is there a restriction conceerning rewarding a Chinese visa to a US citizen who has had a felony conviction?

If your visit to China is for tourism, it might be fine. But there are items in the application form for criminal record, if you choose yes, you may get refused.
