in which visa catogery i and my baby would fall

I won scholarship from chinese government for Ph.D and get
admission in Fujian University of Agriculture and Faisalabad, fuzuo. I
want to bring my 2 year baby, international office is saying me to
bring me baby on travel visa and than there they would issue living
permit for my baby. How can I apply for this, under what visa catogry
woud me and my babt fall, pls update me soon. as I have to join end of this month there. guide me fully.
