Medical Examination for work Visa.

Hi, I'm being posted to a resort in Guilin, China and am told that I will have to do a medical examination. I have a certain venereal disease, will this prevent me from getting my visa? Cheers

Hi, there is an item in the physical examination form for venereal disease, so I have to say this may prevent your application for Z visa.

I read an article that said that in 2010, China dropped the ban for people not being able to enter the country if they had AID/STD, etc. So is this just for tourists, or for working visa's as well?

Dear Milly, it is true that the China announced the lifting of the 20-year-old ban on entry for foreigners with HIV/AIDS, but visa officers still reserve their right to deny applications without explaination.
