About:China Visa Application in USA

I am US Citizen visiting Bahrain. Can I apply for China visit Visa at China embassy in Bahrain?

I am US Citizen on Business Visit to Middle East and I need to go to China to visit my Cousin who is graduating as Medical Doctor in China. Can I apply for Visit Visa for China at Chinese Embassy in Bahrain?

Non-Bahraini applicant must also provide one photocopy of work/residence visa and one photocopy of CPR if you plan to apply there. Anyway, you can confirm this with the embassy directly.

Thanks Anna for the reply. I am not on Work Visa though so I do not have CPR. I am on Business Visit Visa to Bahrain. I guess I may have to just call the embassy like you said.
