Thank you paul. yes both tickets were purchased in NZ as in an Auckland / beijing return ticket with plane change's at guangzhou.both ways.....it is possible that i may even have both boarding pass's before I board at Auckland. ??? Do i remain in the arrival terminal for my domestic flight check-in. ( both flights are China Southern Air ) regards Bob

No, you cannot get the two boarding pass at Auckland.
You remain in the arrival terminal for your domestic flight.

I just read on the China Southern air travel guide that Passengers from NZ and Australia do NOT have to claim checked baggage at guangzhou, the airliine will collect, inspect and re; check-in for connecting flight. Can you confirm this ?? it would certainly make my 2 hour transfer painless. regards Bob
