Visa for Mother-in-law

Hi, i want to invite my mother-in-law to stay with us for one year in Shanghai (we are on 3year employment Z) - i understand she will apply for L as family visit and on arrival EFESCO will apply for a one year visa. Question is in her application how long does she apply for, and for her airticket is a one way ticket ok?

For application with invitation letter, one way ticket is ok, but in the very begining, the purpsoe is for family visit, so 30 days as duration is enough and simplest. You can extend her L within China before it expires.

For the visa form under 2.2 which box should she tick; One entry valied for 3 months - and then on arrival we will apply for her long stay visa through government agency FESCO?

If your company can get her a one year visa after entry. Here single entry valid for 3 months is ok.
