About:Beijing Travel

short ride on High Speed/Bullet train?

I will be in Beijing April 30 to May 2 and would like to take a short ride on a bullet train but I don't have a lot of time. Basically, what I want to do is ride one or two stops from BJ South, get off the train, and take the train back to BJ.

Since I will be in BJ during a holiday period, should I purchase train tickets in advance?

From the south railway station, you can take a bulle train for Tianjin in about thirty minutes. It will not take you so long, so please do not worry.
These bullet trains are frequent, so it is not necessary book in advance. If you can, you can buy ticket several hours before the train leaves.
