About:China Consulate in Sydney

Visa for Laos passport

Hi, my partner is a current permanent resident of Australia with a Lao's passport.
I have booked our flights and we are due to fly out in 3 weeks for four days in HK then to Thailand.

Will the consular be able to approve his visa here or would it need to be sent to HK for approval?

Generally, the consular will approve his visa application if you have all required documents. You can contact the consular office directly for this.
