About:Chinese Consulate in Perth

Visa date of activation and do I need multiple entry visa?

Hi, Is the 3 month visa activated from the date of issue or from the first day of entry into China? Do I need a multiple entry visa if I stay in Hong Kong for a couple of days then fly to Bejing for a few weeks holiday?

Hi, 3 month validity starts from the date of issue. If you plan to visit Hong Kong and re-enter China, you need a double entry Chinese tourist visa.
