About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

12 year old child travelling with mother by cruise ship

She has her own Canadian passport, we are both born in Canada and are Canadian. What type of visa does she require? The same as me (her mother) or is there a special one for a child? We will have a letter from her father approving of the trip (we are still married) and we will be on a 14 day cruise going from Kobe in Japan to S. Korea and then on to 3 stops in China (Dalian, Xingang[Beijing] and Shanghai) and then heading back to Kobe.
