About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I will go to Shenzhen with my family. I have Z-visa 000 and they have L- Visa 30 days.

I started for resident permit process for myself first and the immigration office told me they will come to my office for interview after new year holidays. As I know my visa is valid just for 30 days. It means I should come back after 30 days. How can I finish my procedure if I should leave China ? Can I extend my visa and also my family visa for another 30 days to finish the procedure?How can I submit the resident permit for them ? Do I apply for one year invitation letter first and apply for visa or i can apply for residetn permit after I get myself?

Hi, only you are eligible to get a residence permit based on your Z. Your family with 30 days L should leave before visa expires. If your start the process of residence permit within 30 days after entry, you can extend stay on the Z with the proof that under processing.

Today I went to PSB and they told me after you get the resident permit we will give to your family the same visa and no need to return back.
Also they told me to wait to see the process of resident permit. They said : If it won't be finished before the visa validity of your family , just come again one day before to get new L for them.
