travel from hongkong to shenzhen for 1 day

Question

I am a german visiting Hongkong for some days and I also possible like to see Shenzhen for 1 day;can I apply for the visa at arrivel or shall I apply for a visa in Hongkong and where in Hongkong;mayn thanks for short reply

Hongkong-shenzhen, you can get visa on arrival(single entry). From Hongkong you can take MTR(mass train Railway) Hung hom – Lou Wu.as you arrived at lou wu ( HK and Shenzhen china borders) you will pass immigration. go to 2nd floor..pay and get the visa about 10 mnts. It is valid for 5 days. That information i got from an Indonesian there. But you might have to ask more there.
