US Citizen wanting to apply for Chinese F-Visa in Saudi Arabia

Hello, I'm a US citizen currently working/residing in Saudi Arabia. In May (2013) I plan to enroll in an internship program hosted by a language school in China. Although I don't have a Saudi work permit or residence card (Iqamah) - as my Saudi visa is sponsored by the Saudi Sports Federation, is it still possible for me to apply for a Chinese F-Visa here in Saudi Arabia? If not, where else can I apply for the visa, or can I ONLY apply back home in the U.S?

Hi, a Saudi resident card and an introduction letter from your work unit in Saudi Arabia are required for application. Maybe you can refer to Saudi Sports Federation for help.
