You need to pay by Money Order, Company's Check or Debit Card. Cash, Credit Card or Personal Check will not be accepted. Make Company's Check or Money Order payable to "Chinese Embassy" or "Chinese Consulate General".

This is wrong information located on the Embassy's website. While the Embassy still accepts money order, all payments are made through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center and is not an acceptable method of payment at the CVASC.
