Work visa to L visa

Hi,I'm holding a Dutch passport, and living in China. My work visa will expire the 9th of feb 2012. I want to change it into a l visa before that time.
And I would like to do this in Hong Kong if possible .

In principle, you need to go back to your country and apply for it because applicants without HK resident status are required to submit their applications through the Chinese Embassy or consulate office around your resident country.

However, CTS(China Travel Service) in HK can handle visa application for foreigners. You may call them and see if they can do it for you. If not, you just have to apply for it in your country. Tel:(852) 2315 7171
