You have to offer: a valid passport with at least two blank pages and 6 months or more remaining validity, completed application form with one recent colored passport photo affixed. Besides, Proof of return ticket booking, Chinese hotel booking; Certificate of insurance; Proof of occupation or income or bank account statement (only for retired and unemployed applicants)or Student ID (only for students over 18 years old) are also needed.

The fee varies according to its validity. The minimum is 35 Euros. If you apply it from the Service Center, another 35 Euros is charged for the service fee.
