About:Hong Kong International Airport Transfer

Please help to find the best way to go to Guangzhou by train from HK airport

and how much time it takes

You can take bus A21 to Hung Hom. It takes about one hour. Then take train from Hung Hom to Guangzhou East Train Station. It takes about 2 hours. You can also take the cross-border coach directly from HK airport to Guangzhou.

Is there any need to get off the train in the border?

There is no need to get off the train in the border. You need to go through the custome in Guangzhou and at this place the passport control is done.
