For visa required hotel reservations, is a the email from hotels.com or expedia.ca ok?

'L' tourist visas require that I provide copies of my hotel reservations. All my hotel reservations were made online through a website such as hotels.com or expedia. Would a printout of their confirmation email be all that I need?
