You need a double entry China tourist visa, one for flight to Shanghai, and the other for Dalian by cruise.

Will the same visa cover our 3 day visit to Beijing and entry into Busan for a day visit and on to South Korea with day visit to Osaka then on to Japan & canada. I know we dont need to have visas for Japan and Canada (this is all by cruise ship). Do we get discounts for double tourist L for married couples travelling together. We leave for china on 30 April 2013... We dont want to be turned back because we didnt have correct visas to enter Beijing, Busan & South Korea...

I thought you transit from Shanghai to Beijing by domestic flight or train, if yes, a double entry tourist visa is enough to cover your stay in China. But I am not sure if you need visa to South Korea, including its city Busan. You may need to contact Korean immigration for this. There is no discounts for visas.
