For visa, you do need a double entry visa to reenter shenzhen/Guangzhou from Macao. You can try to apply for visa extension in Hefei with one more entry with your explaination for re-entry. Flight ticket leaving from Guangzhou to New Delhi is required. Or you may consider not leaving for Macao thus a single entry is enough.
For your route, I suggest you to go Shenzhen first from Hefei, then to Macau and the last place- Guangzhou.
In Shenzhen, you can lie Home Inn near Dongmen Commercial area, where eating and shopping can be easy fulfilled. You can stay there for a day and a half.
Then you can take ferry to Macau and spend a day in Macau. In the afternoon, you can go back to Guangzhou and spend a day in Canton. I know a Indian Restaurant called the The Tandoor which is near to Xiaobei Station of local subway line5, but I am not clear about the hotels around it. You can try to find one.
Hope ths information can help you.

China is stricter (with new regulations) so you'd better be sure you have double entry Chinese visa before leaving New Delhi or you may not be able to re-enter China from Macau. Through my experience as from Dec 1, 2012, an applicant needs to provide i) return flight tickets, ii) hotel reservation(s), iii) valid travel document to be submitted with a passport-sized photo to the Chinese Consular Office, then you may be given a double entry Chinese visa unless you fly to HK and apply a group visit to SZ.

There are many Indian and vegetarian restaurants in GZ including along Beijing Road as well as Huanshi Middle Road. There's one good restaurant near Xiatang-Xiaobei Road named Uncle Cafe. Just about 400 metres from GZ Railway Station, an authentic northern Indian cuisine famous for its biryani.

In Shenzhen, not far from SZ Railway Station there are two Indian restaurants. In Hubei Road (also Luohu) you can also find one Punjabi restaurant. Hotels around those areas mentioned both GZ and SZ around RMB150-200 per night.

From Shenzhen Railway Station to Guangzhou Railway Station will take about 1 hr 20 minutes by D-train at RMB78 for second class coach.
