About:Beijing Subway

are all subway stations and transfer between lines step free

Most hotels advise that it is more reliable and faster to use subway then taxis. We will be carrying heavy luggage from airport to hotels, do all stations have lifts or escalators at exit , entrance and transfer between line so that we do not have to carry heavy luggage up and down stairs. Thank you very much

Generally, nearly all the subway stations have escalators. For some transfer between subway lines, you don't even need to get out the subway station.
So which subway line will you take? Need any transfer?
