is subway line 2 of shanghai still in operation around 12 midnight?

Question

I will arrive at Pudong airport at 23:30 (11:30pm) on a Friday. I will need to reach East Nanjing station to get to my hostel. So will I be able to make it and get on the metro? ... is there any alternative? or will I have to cab it to my destination?

There is no subway at that time, but the airport shuttle bus is still in operation. You can take Night Line bus to reach Zhejiang Middle Road near People Square and then take a taxi to reach your hotel.
