giving a gift for business purpose in China.

I met someone who is a strong business prospect. What is customary to give a token of appreciation and and anticipation to do business together?

Generally, if the potential business partner is a male, alcohol and cigarette of good quality are necessary. If he has parents, some health care products can also be prepared for the elderly.

If being a female, a suit of cosmetics of high quality is the best choice.
