About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

how could I apply for the L-visa?

Hi there, My girlfriend and I are planning to visit China. She is a Chinese citizen, while I am Canadian. How can I get a tourist visa?Do I need an invitation letter from her family? Or do I need to go through a travel agency?

You may get a China tourist visa with or without the invitation letter from her family in China. No need to get it through a travel agency, if it's convenient for you to do it in person.
