can a british citizen get chinese visa to visit beijing after arrival in hong kong, as i understand they dont need visa for hong kong, kindly reply                                                 DR sinha

you will need a visa to enter mainland China and you can get this at the Visa office on Hong Kong Island. search online for the details, as reuqirements for tourist visas have changed and you may need proof of accommodation or an invitation . It is possible to do a fast track application or otherwise it could take up to three days.
