About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

i left china illegally with an old passport in their system , can i re-enter on a new passport

i overstayed my visa in china by a while and found a way to leave china without going through the boarder crossings ( dont ask how ) , but the current chinese system has my old passport on system but i have a new passport and if i was to get a visa for china could i re-enter with no problems?

I am not sure if is there any change after passport renewal, I mean name change or passport number? If yes, it is no problem for you to visit China again with a valid Chinese visa.
