what happens if i declare usd more than 5000, while exiting china?

I have to collect US dollars 19000(nineteen thousand ) from a business partner in china in cash. I can show you my company invoices that are approved by their company and a letter from Chinese company stating that they have paid me the money. Can i carry the money out of China or what risk will i face of loosing the money at customs

Hi, I heard that you can go to the bank to get a proof, which needs to be shown to the customs for delaration. By that, you can take your money out, For convenience, I suggest you deposit the money into your bank card.
