About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I am a Filipino Chinese and I want to learn Mandarin language in china.

Is it possible that i could stay in china for at least a year even its for the first time? What are my options?What type of visa should I apply? Thank you very much!

It is possible. You can find yourself a school first, then apply for a student visa X with JW202 and Admission Letter from the school.
