Is it possible for us to visit Tibet for us living in Lanzhou now?

Hello, My wife and I are americans who live and work in Lanzhou,Gansu. The chances of three additional americans leaving from Lanzhou are pretty slim as there are not so many here. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you.
