Can I bring herb seeds into China?

I'm living and teaching in China and would like to bring some seeds to grow common Western herbs in my Chinese apartment (e.g. basil, parsley, dill, oregano) for my own personal cooking use. Is that permitted?

No, you can not take the seeds into China.
