About:China Great Wall

Did anything happen to the great wall after Qin Shi Huangdi died?

Oh, and did they make tombs or houses or anything in the wall, other than the gates? I'm learning about this in my history lessons, and thought that it would be nice to know if I have to do a report or something. And do we know if he was influenced by Confucius? I'm sorry if these are too many questions, but I'm very interested in history, and curios anyway. :D

People make tomebs or houses at some unimportant part. Qinshihuang was influenced by Legalist instead of Confucius.
