prepaid internet sim

Question

I am travelling to China in the Summer for 3.5weeks and if possible would like to have a internet SIM for my tablet for maps and email. I will be travelling around a lot (Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Macau) could anyone recommend the best company to go with / advice about HKG/Macau. I may not use it there if it will be expensive as I am only there for a part of the journey

Hi, China Unicom is suggested for you. You can buy the prepaid internet sim card at any branch of China Unicom. As I know, its monthly charge is cheaper: CNY80/month for 1G, CNY150/month for 3G, CNY200/month for 5G and CNY300 for 10G.  For the extra rate, it charges CNY0.1/MB. Actually, almost in every airport of the cities, you can use free WIFI, which can be also accessible at some MTR stations, Cafe and large public places.
