Travelling in very low temperatues in Shenyang?

I have been living in Shenyang for 3 years now. You should have no problems with closures. I fly a lot for work and have never had the airport close due to snow or cold, they are used to and have the equipment to handle both. Very rarely; 2-3 times a year the highway will close due to heavy snow, the roads are open the next day. If the highway is closed the secondary roads are always still open.
