About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Residence permits for a domestic partner and her 2 children to go to China to live with her partner?

My son is working in China with all the necessary permits and visas. His domestic partner and her 2 children wish to leave South Africa and live with him in China. They are not married, but live together. What do they need to do to get the necessary residence permits for her and the children?

I am afraid not if they are not married. Because to apply for a dependent visa Z accompanying his in China, proof of relationship is required such as marriage certificate and birth certificate of children.
