how to get in panda research base from chengdu airport?

I want to go to the research base from airport. What is the best way. How much cost from airport to panda base by a taxi? If I get in bus, which bus numbers from and where to get in and out? How long time will take to total visit and back to airport?

Hi, the taxi fare from the airport to the base is around CNY120-150. If you catch a bus, you can take shuttle bus line 303 to Minshan Hotel, from where you can easily reach Xinanmen Bus Station. There you can take bus no. 60 to Longqing Road Shulong Road. Then walk along the Panda Avenue for about several minutes to the panda center.  Or upon arrival at Minshan Hotel, you can take a taxi to the attraction directly. It costs around CNY40. Generally, people spend around 2-3h in the panda center. The travel journey on the way may take you about 2h.
