What city should I stay if I like to visit A-Lu cave and Stone forest and Dadieshui waterfall?

What is the best way to find the hotel?

For convenience, I suggest you stay at Shilin County, where the hotels are relatively easy to find. You can go and find a suitable hotel upon arrival during your trip or turn to your tour guide if you have one.

Since I'm trying to get to No 96 Beijing Road, then I take Line 2 from the Airport to Kunming Railway Station, then a taxi for the last 3.7 km... is that correct?

Yes, you choose the right bus but the taxi driving distance is about 2km.
