Generally, the competitions are held from the first Saturday of September till October 1st. During that time, the competitions usually perform in 5 nights, twice a night at 21:00 and 22:00 respectively.
As for your travel means, what is your departure city? Anyway, there is direct flight between Auckland and Hong Kong, Upon arrival at HK, you can easily catch a ferry to Macao.0
