Taiwanese Passport, Canadian PR, Do I still need a visa to enter HK for 4 days?

I'm a Taiwanese passport holder with no Taiwanese ID and I've already obtained my Canadian Permanent resident status. Can I use my PR card to enter HK or do I still need an entry permit or visa? I read somewhere I can stay for 7 days without a visa, but I just want to confirm to be sure.
