About:Visa Application for Children Born in US with Chinese Parents

Do children born in USA with Chinese descent need invitation letter?

My question is about this requirement for Tourist Visa (L)

7. Invitation letter from China travel agencies, institutions or individuals in China; Otherwise, copies of the roundtrip airline ticket and hotel reservation are required. If the invitation letter is issued by an individual, the copy of inviter's ID is required as well.

If I am a Chinese American born in USA who was previously issued a tourist visa (L) applying again, do I need an invitation letter or copies of my roundtrip airline ticket and hotel reservation? Or do I just need what is listed in this article; passport and application form.

What is your source and are you sure?

Invitation or airline ticket is not a listed requirement as per this article.

Los Angeles consulate website third link center "Documents Required for U.S.-Born Children with Chinese Descent" also makes no mention of invitation or airline ticket, just the application form.

Hi Kevin, invitation letter, or return ticket with hotel reservation are general requirements for L visa application anyway. You have to provide any of them together with your previous L visa. You'd better prepare for it if you want to aviod any unnecessary hassle.
